About the guest speaker:

Taylor Roberts Roane, M.S.Ed., BCBA, LBA

Taylor Roane was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended Dominican High School and graduated from Louisiana State University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. While at LSU, she worked under various professors who introduced her to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. This is where she ultimately decided to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. After moving back to New Orleans to be near family, she was able to provide ABA to her local community while completing her Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Applied Behavioral Analysis. She began to work for Autism Spectrum Therapies in 2011 as a behavior technician before receiving her BCBA and becoming a supervisor with the company. While at AST, Taylor has held many positions; trainer, supervisor, behavioral consultant, and director. Currently, she is overseeing the community services for the Baton Rouge area, Northshore area, and Southshore area.
